Vegetarian Weight Loss Be careful, eating the wrong types of vegetarian diets can actually lead you to gain more weight, and if you think switching to a vegetarian diet will guarantee weight loss, think again! However, as a rule, vegetarians and vegans are generally not overweight! And you may have greater success at losing weight by opting for a vegetarian diet compared to non vegetarian. Remember the basic of maintaining and achieving a healthy weight is same for everyone. That is to eat a healthy diet, balance calories and exercise more. Some of my Vegetarians friends make very poor vegetarian food choices and that contribute to them gaining lots of weight. My observation concluded that they took large portions of high-fat, high-calorie foods or foods with little or no nutritional value. CHOCOLATE IS MY FAVORITE HEALTH FOOD

Finally, the medical world has caught up with what the rest of us have known all the time, namely, chocolate is good for us. According to recent medical research, chocolate has marvelous benefits for the human body. For years, this journal carried many delicious articles touting the benefits of chocolate. And I have eaten it all up not to mention several boxes of chocolate. Could it be that my long-time suspicions about broccoli are right? Because I have been right about chocolate, I’m not going to take the chance I’m wrong about broccoli. I propose to eat as much chocolate as possible and avoid broccoli in any and every form. The health benefits associated with vegetarianism go beyond simply having better eating habits. People who have been following a traditional vegetarian diet for many years may be healthier because they also tend to avoid or use less alcohol, caffeine and refined foods. They also tend to have other positive lifestyle habits including being more physically active, having less stressful lifestyles and being non-smokers.
